Wisdom Teeth

Ugh, I have to have mine out tomorrow. I'm not too worried about the pain or anything, I'm mostly hating the 6:30 AM wake up time. So damn early.

Anyone else have their wisdom teeth cut out yet? If yes, did your cheeks swell? I'm hoping mine won't be that bad.

To be totally and perfectly serious, guys have it easier than girls when it comes to that. My male cousin and I had ours removed the same day. I was laid up on meds for a week or so; he went rock climbing the next day. True story!

Seriously though dude, good luck. They say it's worse the older you are when you get them taken out.

I never had nor will I have any wisdom teeth TO BE pulled, but I had to have one of my back one removed & it didnt really swell up too badly... just for like maybe 24 hours. But its goes away quickly.

I guess I'm lucky. I had barely any pain afterwards, but I'm still a little swollen in my cheeks. Plus, I still have to eat soft foods for a couple more days. That means no goodies like popcorn, strawberries, almonds, anything with seeds basically and like jawbreakers. Aw well. I think I'm eating a bit healthier because of it.

I have to admit I was surprised they gave me a bottle of Vicodin to help.

Yeah they gave me vicodin also....

That's gay. All they gave me was Tylenol 3 with codeine.

yea the last time i had a procedure done they knocked me the hell out hard. when i came to i threw up immediately and passed back out. yea i told them that if they didnt put me under hard i might come out and start fighting and boy howdy they did.

when i cracked my ribs they gave me darvocet............ i wanted to stab them for that one. not even enough to take the edge of the pain. now darvocet with several shots of scotch did the trick but o well.

They didn't knock me out when they removed mine. I just told them I have a low tolerance for pain when it comes to my teeth. Anything else I can take what ya give me, but ya don't fuck with my teeth. Ha Ha Anyhow, they gave me like 4 times as much as they normally give a grown man and she just yanked the bitch out. It kinda shocked me when she said like 2 minutes afterwards she was done.

Oh and yeah, cracked ribs SUCK! I cracked 3 of my ribs after accidentally doing a belly buster off a waterfall when I was in Jamaica in 1999. I had to survive for 3 more days without meds until I got back to the states then I was eating mom's hydrocodones like fuckin candy. Ha Ha Ha
