My grandma
Sometimes she really really makes me mad. She always tries to find a fault in me and exploit it. She thinks I'm on the computer all day just to look a porn. (Thats far from the truth.) She keeps trying to compare me to my sister and cousins, it really makes me mad. She's all like "Your sister got a 34 on her ACT you can do better if you try hard enough" Well guess what granny, I've tried hard, and I just got an 18. Yes an 18, the lowest score out of my sister and my three cousins! I'm not stupid, I'm just not a good test taker and I don't manage my time very well..ever. I just hate it that every day this lady has it out for me. I had to go to dentention after school on thursday because I had to many tardies in class. She got all on my case about it and told me how she can't trust me about anything anymore. You know, atleast I'm not doing crack right? Just late to a few classes.

Re: My grandma
Sounds like a typical grandmother response. She wants you to be doing the best and won't accept anything else. It's kind of weird she's comparing your stuff to your cousins though. It's not like they're living with you all the time so...crazy.

Re: My grandma
Yeah, I mean, its not like my cousins come over barly at all.
Today she was angry about my shirt I wore to school. I saw nothing wrong with it personally. It has a picture of Achmed the dead terrorist on it, from Jeff Dunham. He is a comedian. At the top it says his catch phrase "I Keel You" My mom obviously saw nothing wrong with it or she wouldn't have let me get it. My grandma also said the picture (Wich is a picture of Achmed) looks worse than the Devil.
I hate how she judges everything I do, and finds flaws in everything.

Re: My grandma
She's old. Old people do most of what you mentioned, with the exception of the cousin thing. That is kind of bitchy.
Also, I thought the school had detentions during lunch. That's how they worked when I went there.

Re: My grandma
Thats how they've worked for the past few years too. Now they only old them before school or after school. I can't wait up early enough to go to the morning detention so I stayed after school and did my detention. They've changed a lot of things since last year.

Re: My grandma
I guess I wouldn't know. I never got detention, even with being late to most of my classes on a daily basis.
Re: My grandma
I bet your grandma still judges people purely on what they wear then (not to be offensive or anything). I know quite a few of the elders in our society are like that. Probably because things have changed so much since they were young. I wonder if we're gonna turn out the same way?

Re: My grandma
Nah, I think we've moved past that sort of thing. I mean, back in my day we were always ragged on by our elders about that sort of thing, and we were fine with it. Now get off my lawn, you whipper-snappers.
Re: My grandma
Basicly you're right. She thinks all my friends who wear darker clothing are druggies etc. Now some of my friends are, but not all of them. She also thinks all the kids who wear Holister, American Eagle, etc all get good grades. That is not the case, I know plenty of kids who wear that and get horrible grades and are stoners. My grandma really doesn't know anything about the kids today, even though she thinks she does.Death Metal wrote:I bet your grandma still judges people purely on what they wear then (not to be offensive or anything).
