Confirmed for Brawl.

So the other day I picked up Super Smash Bros. Brawl. After playing it, I must say it surpasses the fuck out of Melee. The new characters that I've played so far don't seem like they were thrown in at the last minute, and even a character like Solid Snake plays surprisingly well in Brawl, given his type of game. It also seems like Nintendo is actually trying to do something with their internet connectivity, which is pretty awesome.

That said, I'd like to play with friends, instead of strangers, so post your friend codes in this thread.

How does the Wii controls compare to the GC and the N64 versions of the game?

Well, for one, you can actually use the GC controller to play. The Wii Remote and Nunchuk actually control the game all right, though.

Brawl is loads superior to Melee. Favorite character tends to be R.O.B. or Diddy Kong. I can't really choose.

What characters are you folks using? I can see myself using Samus/Snake mostly, Pit/Meta Knight for the melee, Zelda/Olimar/Falcon/Lucario/ for fun and giggles.

Pit/Meta Knight/Snake here. The only character I don't like playing as is Dedede. Fucking slow as shit. That lardass makes Bowser seem like Quick Man.

King Dedede makes up for speed in power. The guy is a beast if you get used to him. You can pretty much knock off anyone at 50% if you charge up any Smash attack or use his Down-B move at full power. It also helps to have a friend keep the enemies busy.

Luigi is another favorite. I'm really glad they've made him much more different from Mario. I use him for the sheer enjoyment out of jabbing someone off the screen.

Has anyone else been doing Snake's codec taunt for the other characters? Those are pretty funny too.

Rank the top 5 and the bottom 5 for Brawl....I'm trying to get a idea of who to play as....

My favorite character on brawl is Snake. I'm starting to get pretty good with him. Another character I use is Lucario, I'm alright with him. Some characters I'm horrible with are Wolf, King Dedede, Diddy Kong and Wario. Everybody else I'm decent with, but Snake and Lucario are my favorites.

I played it over at dreamclubmurderer's house the day after it came out (day I bought it, btw) and I couldn't really get into it. I will always get more enjoyment out of the usual Melee/Brawl multiplayer.

Did anyone else have trouble connecting for the first couple of days?

My mains are Ike, Captain Falcon, Snake, Pit, R.O.B., Luigi, Wario, and Red (Pokemon Trainer). Squirtle and Charizard, as nerdy as I probably sound, rule shit.

Also, FUCK Lucario, Marth, and Lucas.

Well I gotta say although I didn't expect it, Zero suit Samus is tons better then regular Samus. Oh and what the hell happened to Gannondorf he's even worse then before.

Ice Climbers, Mr. Game and Watch, and Jigglypuff main here. I secondary Donkey Kong and pretty much am competent in everyone else, I guess. I've mained Ice climbers since Melee, where they decent. Game and watch since Melee, where he was shitty(GOD, he's beast now). and Jiggz was a secondary of mine in melee(I miss the old rest.. D: )

Honestly, sometimes, I go back to Melee because I enjoy the speed a little more.
